XC Ski track renewal
Bottom of Sled. Runner on left glide the sled into the my ski tracks. The V in the center cut down the center ridge of Snow that forms as the tracks get deeper. The V also pick up soft snow from the outside of the tracks and channel the snow into the tracks. The runner on the right renew the tracks. I have consider using down hill skis in this position. But I found that the bare wood get rid of dirt in the tracks.
I modified the front, a down angle Vee push the wet snow to the outside over the front runners to be caught by the rear Vee and channel the snow into the tracks.
The rail are there to place a container and fill it with snow to add weigh .for setting deeper tracks. I found that pulling was very hard.
