Ft. Washington Bike Trail to Conshohocken

The icon for bike path is shown along the rail Bed that is being converted to the Ft washing Bike path. The dotted line is from a recent bicycle ride that use some of the completed sections. Ft Washington State park branch from the Schuylkill River trail at Conshohocken, Elm and Colwell Ln. The left closed fork on the new section of the trail, between the Condo and the river led to the the old rail line that is the path for this trail. Sections near the shopping centers on both side of Ridge Ave is completed. There is the Wissahickon Creek Green trail section along Northwest Ave to Stenton Ave and from Stenton Ave. and Valley Green Rd to Fort Washington State Park. A branch of this trail also to Bethlehem Pk. and Mill Rd is shown as tracks.

Wissahickon Creek Green Trail. Hard pack surface, can be entered from Valley Green Rd, and Stenton Ave. it crosses Valley Green before the bridge and continue along path of the hiking Green trail. a branch extends to Bethlehem Pk. and Mill Road.

Yellow tracks from my ride today show how to get to the Bethlehem Pike entrance to the Trail. There is a church on the corner of Bethlehem Pike and Mill Rd. By using the lane for right turns, direct ahead, seems to lead to a driveway. However this is the entrance to the left of the building. You cross a bridge and soon after that, Straight get you to Stenton Ave and Valley Green Road. A right turn at the Militia sign takes you to Ft. Washington State Park.

My tracks from home through Glenside and Orland to get to Mill Rd and avoid Church Rd. .
